The Scottish Catholic Archives maintains a library of around 10,000 titles dating from the mid-16th century. Older items belonging to the Archive are deposited with the National Library of Scotland as the Scottish Catholic Archives Collection.
At present the Library Catalogue is not available online. Retro-conversion of the catalogue is underway with re-cataloguing also taking place.
The Library supports the manuscript holdings of the Archive and provides a broad Catholic and Scottish research collection.
